OUR HISTORY

Joan Apel, owner and president of Ex-Sell Food Sales Inc. had a vision to provide a sales support program for companies of all sizes. In 1985, Ex-Sell was operating within British Columbia as the only merchandising firm in the retail grocery market. Ex-Sell's potential to become a 'one-stop' service for both Field Marketing and Third Party Merchandising services have continued to grow.

Today, the Ex-Sell Sales & Merchandising teams are regularly visiting all forms of retail trade nationally. These retail channels include grocery, hardware, drug, mass merchandise, office supplies, computer specialty chains and convenience.

Since the beginning, Ex-Sell has worked to develop the necessary format, reporting structure and computerized summaries to place Ex-Sell on the leading edge as a service provider. Today, our custom built web reporting links our instore teams and our clients, providing custom scheduling, direction and reporting.

Flexible and reliable, our Merchandising programs and Reporting systems are custom designed for each of our clients different needs. Our team is made up of sales people who reach the retailers in the areas they live. This way the store level staff can expect consistent visits from the same person frequently, while reducing the mileage costs.

This helps to maintain our relationships, on behalf of our clients, at store level.
